Prometric, the global leader in secure high stakes test development and delivery, has named Lance Anderson, Ph.D., as its Director of Test Development. Dr. Anderson will be responsible for leading psychometric services and industry best practices across Prometric’s global test development operation, which can produce hundreds of valid and approved items in less than one business week by working across time zones in the U.S., Ireland, India and Japan. More than 350 organizations trust Prometric to develop and deliver their exams in 160 countries.

Earning his Ph.D. from Bowling Green State University and his undergraduate degree from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Anderson specializes in the field of Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and he is a previous president of the Personnel Testing Council of Metropolitan Washington.
Dr. Anderson’s more than two decades of experience cover research and project leadership in selection tool development and validation, recruitment and retention, standards development and certification, job analysis, development of educational and training requirements, leadership development, and assessment of persons with disabilities. Published works include topics on assessment assembly to improve predictive performance, using simulation to inform cut scores, career management for re-entering the job market and others.
